Thistles can be perfectly happy without water – but not this Thistle 1 1/2 Pint Jug. It’s a jug that’s crying out to be used as a water jug (though would also be perfectly happy if used for gravy, orange juice or custard, too). If you decide to be the proud owner of this decorative jug, you’ll no doubt have been attracted to it for the good looks and the green and purple thistle pattern painted by hand, but also because you already know that thistles are at their happiest when providing nectar for insects and seeds for wintering birds.
